The game has been available on PS5 for over two weeks. The creators have confirmed that the project is not yet closed: a Legend multiplayer mode is in development. Since the first installment of the Ghost series received not only multiplayer after its release but also a story expansion, the studio understands that fans are waiting for news about a single-player DLC that expands Atsu's story.
In a recent interview with Game Informer, co-director Jason Connell and writer Ian Ryan shared that the story in the game is complete, but Atsu still has unfinished business. She is learning to live without her brother, taking care of her niece, and fulfilling the role of a foster mother. Revenge is behind her, but complete healing is still ahead.
The developers noted that future expansions are possible, but no final decisions have been made yet. Currently, the project is being released to understand what players like, what aspects of the story appeal to them, and what they want more of. The creators are closely monitoring the reaction to add new elements to Atsu's story if necessary, while preserving the character's personality and the integrity of the narrative.
