An enthusiast decided to improve his favorite game.
This year, fans celebrated the anniversary of Metal Gear Solid 5. Modder mohtalgear joined the celebration by presenting a large-scale project:
«In preparation for the tenth anniversary of The Phantom Pain, I have spent the last six months researching and modding the game to add truly new content (in the form of new weapons) and make significant changes to the gameplay».
mohtalgear added the ability to play as Quiet and Ocelot; the characters' features are taken into account in the gameplay, for example, the heroine cannot conduct interrogation for obvious reasons.
Other characters will be able to interrogate enemies, and the modder has improved this mechanic: «Interrogate an enemy once to get a random support weapon. Conduct another interrogation to get a random item (the more guards you interrogate, the more diverse the choice will be)».
A «dynamic revenge» is also implemented, which «can make any mission, including the first one, incredibly difficult if you go head-on».
If the player activates the combat phase/captures an outpost during the combat phase, the guards at other outposts/command posts will improve their equipment.
