Recently, a demo version of Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era was presented on Steam. Users noticed that changes had occurred on the game's page in the Valve service.
Until recently, a couple of companies were listed as publishers — Ubisoft itself and partner Hooded Horse, but in October, "Ubisoft" was excluded from the list.
Since Hooded Horse sells its projects in Russia, players expect that Olden Era will also be freely available in the Russian Federation.
However, the "Heroes" franchise belongs to Ubisoft, so there remains a certain risk of a ban on the purchase of HoMM Olden Era.
For example, there was a case when players from the Russian Federation were not allowed to buy an add-on for Guilty Gear Strive with the fighter Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (a CD Projekt RED franchise), although the game itself and other DLCs are sold in the region.
