Double Dragon Revive has been released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. To celebrate the release, developers Arc System Works have presented a trailer showcasing the game's opening cinematic scene.
The video sets the tone for a beat 'em up atmosphere: it shows the heroes facing various enemies, and short snippets of their unique techniques, before the antagonist appears.
The game continues the events of the classic series. Billy and Jimmy set out to rescue their childhood friend Marion, who has been kidnapped by the Shadow Warriors gang. The scenario retains the old school feel, but the gameplay has been updated: complex combos, enemy grabs, and the use of Hyper Blows in the air and on the ground.
Each level offers unique environmental elements: flamethrowers, bridges over bottomless chasms without railings, and other interactive objects that allow you to inflict significant damage on enemies.
