Famous personalities will be involved in covering the major Counter-Strike 2 event.

Recently, the well-known streamer Evelone192 (Vadim Kozakov) announced that he has become the owner of the rights to broadcast the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 in CS2 in Russian:

I can finally say what I've been thinking about for probably over a year. What I couldn't tell or entrust to anyone, but I believed it would happen: I bought the rights to the Russian-language major.

Some community members, like RachelR, believe that the online viewership of Evelone192's broadcasts will show the importance of the Russian-speaking region and become an argument "FOR" Twitch to continue operating in the Russian Federation:

...the Russian-speaking region is not some conditional South Korea that Twitch left and didn't even particularly regret. The CIS segment of Twitch is quite large, but since they decided to cut our quality to 720p, etc., it shows that they are under normal pressure with all sorts of fines and other things. [...] Evelone with his [large] online viewership on the major's cast will be one of those anchors that Twitch will cling to if the question arises about leaving the CIS region.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 will be held from November 24 to December 14.
