Some publishers do not sell their games in the Russian Steam, but until recently, users could view the "Community Hub" — a special page where discussions, news, screenshots, guides, and other user-generated content are posted.
In October, players from Russia and other regions noticed that Valve now prohibits viewing the "Community Hub" of games that are not distributed in the user's region — an error will be displayed:
Sorry! An error occurred while processing your request: This community hub is not available in your region.
It is noteworthy that (at least for now) if a user can somehow get a sanctioned game into their account library, access to the "Community Hub" will be open.
However, if the game was obtained through a "family group", access to the "Hub" will be closed.
