Retroid has introduced two new handheld consoles, the Pocket 6 and Pocket G2.
The Pocket 6 features a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen (1920x1080, 120 Hz), Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 8/12 GB LPDDR5x RAM, 128/256 GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, a 6000 mAh battery (27W charging), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, Display Port 4Kp60 and Alt Mode, and the Android 13 operating system. Size: 21.04*8.66*1.72 cm (six colors).
The Pocket G2 has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display (60 Hz), Qualcomm Snapdragon G2 Gen 2 processor, 8 GB LPDDR5x RAM, 128 GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, a 5000 mAh battery (27W charging), Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Display Port 1080p via USB-C, and the Android 15 operating system. Size: 19.92*7.85*1.56 cm (weight – 280 grams, five colors).
In the first two weeks after the start of sales, the Retroid Pocket 6 8+128 GB will be available for $209 (16,873 rubles), the 12+256 GB for $259 (20,910 rubles), and the Retroid Pocket G2 for $199 (16,066 rubles). Retail prices will be as follows: Pocket 6 8+128 GB – $229 (18,488 rubles), Pocket 6 12+256 GB – $279 (22,525 rubles), Pocket G2 – $219 (17,681 rubles).
Judging by the trailer, the black, gray, and purple Retroid Pocket G2 will begin shipping on October 29, 2025, and the yellow and turquoise ones on November 5, 2025.
