Bandai Namco has confirmed that Soulcalibur III will appear in the PS Plus Premium catalog later this year. The game will be included in the Classics Catalog section, so it will be available to PS Plus top-tier subscribers and can be purchased separately in the PlayStation Store. The project will be available on PS5 and PS4.
This is a continuation of Bandai Namco's strategy to gradually transfer classic games to the Sony service.
Originally, Soulcalibur III was released in 2005 on PlayStation 2 and is considered one of the most elaborate parts of the series. The game developed the concept of dynamic battles with weapons, offered a wide range of characters, a story mode, the strategic Chronicles of the Sword, and an advanced hero editor, which became the hallmark of the franchise.
