A trailer for the new horror game Antichrist has been released on the official PlayStation channel. Sony's Japanese division presented the project from Dead Witness studio, which is preparing for release on PS5 and PC via Steam. According to the developers, the premiere will take place "in the near future," presumably in early 2026.
The game's protagonist is a journalist investigating the disappearance of several people. He goes to a house where strange and inexplicable events have occurred, and encounters demons and paranormal phenomena, as if from the worst nightmares.
The developers promise a combination of exploration and survival in a creepy atmosphere, as well as many puzzles and hidden clues that reveal the secrets of the past. All dialogues are voiced by professional actors. The authors promised that the game does not use artificial intelligence — neither for visual nor for sound effects, and the story is inspired by real events with an emphasis on psychological and atmospheric horror.
