The studio has released a major update for consoles and PCs, trying to change players' opinions about the project. Update 5 adds Halloween decorations and new missions in Arcadia mode (also known as "Play.MindsEye"). All the new features are shown in the latest trailer.
The developers have also fixed a number of combat-related bugs — for example, drones no longer fly out of bounds. The behavior of AI and NPCs has become more stable: enemies now react correctly and do not freeze in the air during battles.
The update improves graphics — distant objects are now displayed correctly. The handling and physics of cars have been improved, making driving more natural.
The patch is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. But, judging by the reviews, the fixes are not enough to reverse the negative attitude. MindsEye still holds a rating of about 38% "mostly negative" reviews on Steam.
