Recently, Relic Entertainment, known for Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War, introduced the game Earth vs Mars on Steam.
It was released under the brand "Relic Labs" — which they plan to use for releasing games that differ from the large-scale strategies that the studio usually releases:

Earth vs Mars is a turn-based strategy game in which the Earth army confronts the Martian invasion. The secret weapon is the Splice-O-Tron, which allows you to "combine human \"volunteers\" with earthly creatures, creating powerful hybrid super-soldiers who will fight side by side with regular Earth troops."
The first reviews of Earth vs Mars on Steam are "positive," with a rating of 87%.
