The reward system for side quests will also be fixed: sometimes it did not give the promised Pokémon. Another bug occurred in rare cases when an attack hit an opponent exactly at the moment of the time of day change - the game could "freeze", blocking further progress.
The update aims to improve stability and fix issues that hinder story progression. Although the exact release date of the patch has not yet been announced, Studio Game Freak has reported that work is nearing completion. The project is performing particularly well on the Nintendo Switch 2, where sales have exceeded those of the old model, confirming the continued popularity of the series.
