A few days ago, the developer Aftermath Red Pine Lake complained about the Steam moderation system. The developer was not allowed to place a girl in a swimsuit, standing with her butt to the camera, on the game cover.
The story went viral, and it seems that Valve paid more attention to the issue — the developer announced a review of the decision, and they managed to defend the cover design:
Today is not the end, it is the beginning. Because today we can say that we have won! Steam has decided to change its decision and not censor our page! We stood our ground and did not give up, and we will continue to fight censorship. If we could win, so can you! We are a small team that few people know about, but we stood up for what we believed in and defeated the largest platform! But we didn't do it alone, but thanks to all of you! People from all over the world, you told us to keep up the good work and supported us. We are very grateful to you all and will not stop. Our community is growing, so thank you for the light in the darkness. We no longer need to be afraid of censorship: without developers creating games, they have no income, without you, the players, they have no power.
