Recently, the developers announced stricter rules. They are aimed at combating players using third-party tools.
miHoYo (HoYoverse) classifies such tools as "mouse macros and automation scripts that violate the integrity of the gameplay."
The authors of Genshin Impact may block the violator's account and confiscate illegally obtained items:
To maintain a fair gaming environment, stricter security measures will be introduced in the near future. Depending on the violation, measures may include, but are not limited to, account suspension and removal of illegally obtained rewards.
