It seems that recent events in the gaming industry have complicated the development of Assassin's Creed Hexe. The project may be released at an inconvenient time or face a noticeable delay.
Assassin's Creed Hexe is the next installment in the series, with high expectations from fans and the authors themselves. The game was introduced several years ago, but since then there have been almost no details. It was previously assumed that the release would take place as early as 2026, but now Ubisoft's plans may change.
It recently became known that GTA 6 has been postponed for six months. This event affects the entire market - most companies avoid releasing major releases near the Rockstar project in order not to lose their audience. According to an insider, Assassin's Creed Hexe, which will take place in the 16th century in Central Europe and will be dedicated to the theme of witches, will be released earlier than planned, but the window between releases will remain too short.
After the announcement of the GTA 6 date in mid-November, blogger JorRaptor suggested that Hexe would appear in October 2026, giving players "three weeks to complete the game."
Another fan of the series, Zephryss, believes that Ubisoft will not take the risk and will postpone the release to 2027. They also recalled a similar situation in 2018, when Assassin's Creed Odyssey was released almost simultaneously with Red Dead Redemption 2. Then the franchise stayed afloat, but today, given the company's difficult situation, Ubisoft will not repeat this step.
