Fans continue to support their favorite games in the franchise.

In November, fans celebrated N7 Day, and modders joined in the celebration by releasing LE1 Community Patch 2.0 for Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

In this version, the developers focused on ensuring compatibility with other modifications:

The LE1 framework is now available and included in the LE1 Community Patch. It will significantly reduce compatibility issues between mods that change the appearance of NPCs and other level modifications. The framework works similarly to the LE3 Community Patch and LE2 Prologue frameworks.

Thanks to the LE1 Sideloader Framework, other modders will be able to "load additional level files into existing parts of the game with minimal compatibility issues, without having to make corrections to master level files."

Some other changes and improvements:

  • Citadel — The docking scene with the Citadel upon the first visit of the "Normandy" will be visualized in the game engine, not as a pre-rendered video.
  • Normandy — Animation glitches have been eliminated, and a bug has been fixed that caused Pressly to teleport when talking to him before Ilos
  • Improved head and hair meshes for Kaidan to reduce gaps between his hair and helmets
  • Virmire — Restored the unique appearance of Private Menos Avot (optional)
