Recently, God of War (2018) revealed a new side to some players. During their adventures, Kratos and Atreus encounter the World Serpent (Jörmungandr).
The creature emits a roar, and now players know its meaning. A script has appeared online, and it contains an explanation of the mysterious "Keh-naw--nooooo. Gooooo-thooooo seh-nooo" and more.
As it turns out, Jörmungandr said to the heroes:
Do not bother me again, small god, until you acquire the language to speak with me
When the heroes return with Mimir (or rather, his head), the serpent says to the characters, "You again. Have you come to offer the axe as a sacrifice?", and adds to Mimir: "There used to be more of you."
In the process of discussing Atreus's mother's fate, the serpent says:
This pain I understand. First, they need to obtain silver from the tip of the sacred chisel. And they must study the Black Rune... hidden in Tyr's Temple.
