In Batman Arkham Origins, the developers from Warner Bros. Games Montreal introduced a multiplayer mode about the confrontation between heroes and villains. However, another multiplayer project was also being made for the franchise.
At a certain stage, it was assumed that a game mode called "Batman Gangland" would appear in Batman Arkham City.
The author of the YouTube channel The Atomsmith recently showed the gameplay of this canceled multiplayer Batman Gangland. Enthusiasts managed to launch one of the developer builds.
Players would be able to take on the role of bandits and heroes. From the villain's point of view, the game looked like a third-person shooter; and the gameplay for Robin or Batman resembles stealth segments from the campaign, only now the opponents are real people.
