Anniversary Patch Released for Fallout 4 - Players No Longer Deceived by VATS Calculations
Developers have fixed some bugs and added mod content from the Creation Club
In honor of the anniversary, an update has been released for Fallout 4, and the Anniversary Edition has been introduced. The developers have resolved a long-standing issue with the VATS system.
From now on, an honest calculation of hit percentages will be performed:
VATS hit chance is now consistent across all platforms and no longer erroneously bottoms out at 0% or displays incorrect values. Targeting enemies through walls without the "Penetrator" perk is no longer possible.
The authors of Fallout 4 are also adding content from the Creation Club to the game: a variety of community mods, including those in the style of other Bethesda franchises.
Tale of the Beast Hunter has also been added to the game — you can try on a new costume, take a special "revolver-shotgun," and "bring a piece of Mojave to the Commonwealth with the 'Bar' — a unique new home for players, taken as if from the Strip."
