Along with the new promo, the game received an updated description.
Recently, the creators of Breathedge presented a new trailer for the Canyons project. Players noticed that some changes were made to the game's description on the Steam page.
The current short description reads:
Canyons is a third-person action shooter set in a procedurally generated world. Fight mysterious Ozhivas in co-op for up to 4 players or solo, control giant Crawlers, build a settlement, and conquer this harsh world.
The old description is preserved in the SteamDB database - previously the game was directly positioned as an extraction shooter:
Canyons is a third-person extraction shooter set in a procedurally generated post-apocalyptic world. Fight for your life in 4-player co-op or solo, control huge Crawlers, build a settlement for survivors, and conquer this wild world!
At the same time, the mention of the need to return to base at some point remained in the further description of Canyons on Steam:
No matter how brave a crusader you are, one day you will have to return home.
