Publisher Beep Japan and studio Nagai Industries have announced that the life simulator inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories will be released in April 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
The events unfold in the Japanese countryside in the early 1990s. The player has to manage a small 24-hour store, arrange goods, communicate with customers, and make decisions that affect their lives.
The main character is a student, Makoto Hayakawa, who decided to take a break from her studies and help her aunt in a cozy "konbini". The plot is based on her interaction with regular customers and the discovery of their stories.
As the player progresses, they master their own store management style, study customer habits, and find an approach to each one to make their visit enjoyable.
Game features: meditative atmosphere, many characters with different personalities and habits, mini-games for customer service, branching dialogues, a carefully recreated atmosphere of Japan in the 90s, and ASMR-style sound design that creates a sense of calm and comfort.
