Escape from Tarkov is a PvPvE game, but the community requested a separate PvE mode. It was added to the extraction shooter long before release, which required a lot of work.
Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov said:
Funny fact: the PvE mode was planned to be added after release, but we worked 24/7 to speed up its launch, and finally added it about a year and a half earlier than planned. All future changes for PvE were also planned to be released after release — and they are still in the plans.
The authors of Escape from Tarkov previously did not think about adding a separate PvE mode to the game, but then the opinion changed — the mode will be further developed:
Initially, "Tarkov" was never conceived as a PvE game. But we changed that to make more people happy. We still pay more attention to PvPvE games, but in the future PvE will also be improved. Peace, love, faith and common sense to you all!
The full version of Escape from Tarkov is expected to be released on November 15.
