Owlcat Games, known for cRPG Pathfinder and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, also has a publishing division. It recently released a narrative RPG.
Rue Valley was developed by Emotion Spark Studio, and the authors invite players to take on the role of a character stuck in a time loop. He needs to deal with his psychological problems and what is happening:
Try to get out of the mysterious time loop! Take a journey into the dark depths of your mind and look into the most secret corners of your soul. Find out what secrets this godforsaken town holds. A new day is a new struggle with inner demons. Trying to understand what happened, you will meet people who also face difficult experiences, and perhaps learn their innermost secrets.
The creators of Disco Elysium — Robert Kurvitz, Alexander Rostov, and Helen Hindpere — previously had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Rue Valley and advised the developers.
The first reviews of the game on Steam are "positive", with a rating of 92%.
