According to journalist Jez Corden, Bethesda is working on remasters of two games at once — Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
The studio previously announced several projects in the Fallout universe. One of them is Fallout 5, but its release is expected in 5–10 years, as The Elder Scrolls VI will come out first. But after that, fans can expect new releases.
Rumors about remasters appeared after a major Microsoft leak related to the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. It was then said that Bethesda was working on remasters of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement of the Oblivion remaster confirmed the speculation, which increases the chances of Fallout 3 Remastered being released.
But, apparently, that's not all the studio has planned. Recently, an X user wrote about rumors about Fallout 3 and expressed regret that New Vegas would not get a remaster. To this, Windows Central editor Jez Corden briefly replied: «nv will be out too».
There is no more detailed information, but given Corden's reputation and his reliable leaks about Microsoft's plans, one can cautiously hope for a Fallout: New Vegas remaster.
