Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been released and immediately received a wave of criticism from players. The campaign lacks a pause function, its plot increasingly resembles poorly written fanfiction, and the PC version's performance looks weak.
If previously the release of Call of Duty invariably brought a high peak of users, this year the game could not reach even one hundred thousand concurrent players. The situation becomes even more noticeable when compared to Battlefield 6 and ARC Raiders. Black Ops 7 scored only 32% of Battlefield 6's result in the last 24 hours and only 20% of what ARC Raiders showed. This is an extremely unpleasant blow for Activision.
Statistics for the last 24 hours:
• Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 — 93,247 players at peak;
• Battlefield 6 — 290,411;
• ARC Raiders — 449,610.
