Sonic Rumble has surpassed 15 million players. To celebrate, the developers have announced a series of improvements and a temporary in-game event.
To celebrate the achievement, the studio will launch the 15 Million Rumbler Milestone Mission event. It will run from November 18 to December 17, 2025. Participants will be able to earn rewards, including 300 Red Star Rings, Skill Stars, Tune Up Wrenches, and other items. The developers noted that the goal of the event is to encourage progress through gameplay, rather than through direct purchases.
In addition to the temporary event, the team announced a series of planned changes based on player feedback:
- increased item accessibility;
- adjustment of the in-game store;
- interface and description updates.
The goal of the changes is to make the game's systems clearer and eliminate misunderstandings between purchases and match results. Implementation timelines have not been specified, but updates will appear in the upcoming short- and medium-term patches.
The developers clarified that the "pay-to-win" mechanics are exaggerated: subscriptions and bonuses only affect the number of post-match rewards, not the collection of rings during the match or the outcome of the game.
Long-term content and balancing plans have not yet been revealed. Development of additional updates is ongoing, and details will be released later.
