Windows Central editor Jez Corden is considered a very reliable source in the gaming community, so his recent statement attracted increased attention (although he spoke on a topic that was not typical for him - not about Xbox and Microsoft, but about Sony).
Allegedly, Sony plans to revise its strategy regarding PC ports of its games, returning to the practice of exclusive releases on PlayStation 5:
It seems that [the results] of games released by PlayStation on PC did not impress them at all.
Soon Jez Corden addressed the community and clarified that his words were speculation and should not be taken as inside information:
I just want to add that these were very vague rumors, just discussions and speculation in the podcast, and not a serious report or leak! [...] I don’t cover the PlayStation topic and should not be used as a source of information that goes beyond basic opinions/speculation, unless it concerns Windows Central. I work on the Xbox/Microsoft topic.
