The Polish team Far From Home, which released the sci-fi survival game Forever Skies in April 2025, is pleased with the game's reception. Currently, the project has "mostly positive" reviews on Steam, but the studio acknowledges the weaknesses pointed out by some of the audience.
The developers have been working on improvements, and the result is the updated Echoes 1 version. At the same time, the team revealed further plans to support the project.
The Echoes 1 patch, released on November 17, expands the first biome and introduces a new content structure. Among the innovations are ten additional tasks that better introduce players to the world, redesigned and more diverse locations, an updated resource extraction system, six new points for exploration, eight decorative elements for the airship, and a built-in tool for sending feedback.
Echoes 1 is the first of three updates. The second will be released in December and will bring new elements for the next section of the game. The third is planned for the spring: the developers will expand the last biome and make major changes affecting the entire project.
