Developers have added several features that players have requested
Players actively criticized the Plants vs. Zombies Replanted remaster upon release. The developers responded to the feedback and began releasing patches for the game.
The recent 1.4 update added a number of requested features to the game:
- Remote Play Together support has been added: Steam users will be able to launch "local multiplayer mode" with online friends. The second player will need to use a gamepad.
- Added accessibility features: you can remove screen shake; slow down the game speed; use high contrast mode.
- Introduced the "solar vacuum" function: pressing the right trigger/R2/ZR on gamepads or the spacebar on the keyboard activates a "vacuum" that will collect all the suns on the level.
Added additional hotkeys:
- Tab — switch game speed.
- Spacebar — "solar vacuum".
- Number keys 1 - 0 can be used to interact with seed packets during gameplay.
