Back on October 28, a crowdfunding campaign for the BrickBoy project was launched on Kickstarter with the aim of raising 100 thousand euros (9,110,860 rubles).
We are talking about a kit that allows you to turn a Lego Game Boy constructor into a working console in just a few minutes, capable of running various games.
There are 11 days left until the end of the campaign, and the BrickBoy developers already have 530,286 euros (48,313,615 rubles) in their piggy bank. Thanks to the funds raised, the team added a wireless multiplayer mode, Bluetooth controller support, a special brochure, a set of replacement buttons and other things.
But the most important thing is that the team will now also release an additional module called Arcade Edition, made in the form of an arcade machine. With it, BrickBoy can be connected to a monitor or TV.
Now the standard BrickBoy kit can be purchased for 139 euros (12,664 rubles), the collector's kit for 169 euros (15,397 rubles), the "Gamer + Collector" for 278 euros (25,328 rubles), the "2 Collector + 1 Gamer" for 437 euros (39,814 rubles), the Arcade Edition for 89 euros (8108 rubles), and the Bluetooth controller for 54 euros (4919 rubles).
BrickBoy deliveries are scheduled for March 2026. Trailers: Kickstarter-ролик, сборка устройства, демонстрация геймплея, Doom на BrickBoy.
