According to Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, GTA 6 will be a "massive game with massive marketing," but the former game director of The Witcher 3 doesn't mind releasing his role-playing game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, at the same time.
Konrad Tomaszkiewicz from Rebel Wolves studio is ready to launch his team's first game and is not afraid of competition with GTA 6. In an interview with GamesRadar+ he said:
"I think the whole industry is watching GTA because it's GTA. It's a massive game with massive marketing and so on. And, as a player, I treat it normally. I will definitely play it. As a developer, I also treat it normally. We'll see."
While many developers are postponing releases to avoid overlapping with major projects, Tomaszkiewicz is going his own way.
The Blood of Dawnwalker will be released in 2026 and will become a notable open-world combat role-playing game, despite the shadow that GTA 6 casts on the industry.
