The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Trick-Taking Game, a cooperative card game, will be released on January 16, 2026. To prepare people for new adventures in Middle-earth, Office Dog Publishing has released a teaser trailer for this narrative board game.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Trick-Taking Game is a stand-alone sequel to The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – Trick-Taking Game with new mechanics, characters, and stained glass illustrations.
In this project, designed for 1–4 players, participants will be able to take on the roles of heroes and villains from "The Two Towers" – the second novel in the "The Lord of the Rings" cycle by the English writer J. R. R. Tolkien.
Players will have to fulfill various conditions in order to complete a particular chapter and advance through the story. As chapters are completed, new characters, items, and challenges are introduced into the game.
It is not yet known whether a Russian-language version of this board game will appear in the future, but it is already available for pre-order for $26.99 (2133 rubles).
