In the gaming industry, projects are often canceled, and online games can be complex and expensive — large bets sometimes fail. World of Assassination shows that games can be made without overloading and without unnecessary madness.
Hitman World of Assassination includes the Hitman trilogy, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3. On January 26, 2023, all games were merged into one project, which continues to receive support. On December 1, 2025, the elusive target elimination mission "Eminem vs. Slim Shady," announced during the Xbox Partner Preview presentation, will begin.
Abrak added that the development of 007 First Light was funded "solely by Hitman." Abrak confirmed work on a "multiplayer fantasy project," but Hitman and 007 First Light remain completely independent.
