Konami has stated that the remake of the first Silent Hill and Silent Hill Townfall are part of the company's plans. The series has become one of the main directions of the corporation, so as long as the interest is high, new projects will be released.

Konami says that after Silent Hill 1 Remake and Silent Hill Townfall, they intend to develop the series further!
"We are working on a remake of the first Silent Hill game, as well as a new game Silent Hill: Townfall, and we are planning to develop the series in the future. Konami will continue to develop Silent Hill games that will appeal to our fans around the world."
