The release of EFT 1.0 was just the beginning, the developers will continue to deliver new content.
The developers of Escape from Tarkov are actively preparing for winter and intend to add a new season system to the game.
Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov recently outlined some plans:
[...] we plan to use these few months to prioritize and bring more fixes and improvements to the game. Also, winter will come to Tarkov, new story quests and a new event will appear. A little later, a seasonal character will be introduced along with a completely new season system.
In December, the Escape from Tarkov developers will hold the traditional New Year's TarkovTV — and will then share additional information.
