Recently, the developers of Battlefield 6 announced a change to the Conquest mode. The new version has increased the number of tickets (team points).
From now on, in Conquest matches, teams will have 1200 points instead of 1000:
[...] we have made changes to the fundamental rule set to further emphasize the importance of capturing points, ensuring that controlling more objectives than the opponent has a significant impact. These changes have had a positive effect, and we are already seeing more situations where [lagging] teams that started in a less favorable position still win. However, this has also led to matches ending earlier than planned. To fix this, we are increasing the total number of points to maintain match duration while maintaining the focus on capturing points.
A community member with the nickname eraguthorak noted that now, when controlling most of the points, the other team's points decrease much faster:
Previously, if your team controlled most of the points, the opponent's score decreased by one every 5 seconds. After the recent update, the score started decreasing by one every 2 seconds (more than twice as fast). That's why Conquest matches started ending in 10-15 minutes instead of 20.
The Battlefield 6 developers also announced the start of a new promotion: for logging into BF6 or the REDSEC battle royale, you will receive the Lethal Force skin for the M2010 ESR rifle.
