There is an amazing French actor named Maxence Cazorla who did almost all of the motion capture work for this role in the game. Any nomination or recognition that I receive, I really have to give to him — I believe that the performance of this role really belongs to him, and my voice is only part of the process.
Cazorla was responsible for the movements of Gustav, Renoir, and Verso.
Since its release, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has become a major contender for The Game Awards and other awards, receiving several nominations in the "Best Performance" category, including three for Gustav.
