Recently, "Gothic" fans noticed that some things had changed in the remake. For some reason, the famous painting in Gomez's throne room disappeared (it depicted naked girls).
Something also happened to other female characters: revealing images were replaced by closed outfits.
This led to outrage in the community, and players began to express their dissatisfaction on the Gothic 1 Remake forum on Steam, accusing the developers of censorship.
Some discussions began to be closed, and now a response has appeared from the "Gothic" community manager. T-Moor replied:
We have been reading and seeing all the comments on the internet in recent days. Thank you for your feedback! We are already actively discussing this issue in the team. Alkimia Interactive has shown and proven throughout the game development process that the studio listens to the opinions of fans of the series. The only request is to have a constructive discussion. Thank you!
