Maxis' game continues to serve as a platform for creative experiments with the building system.
Recently, DeadgirlRot presented her large-scale project to The Sims 4 community. A year later, she completed the construction of Riften from The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim.
I started building it last Christmas [...] this is the "completed" version because, unfortunately, the 60×60 map wasn't big enough to build an exact replica.
However, even this version of Riften in The Sims 4 impressed players - DeadgirlRot paid attention to detail not only on the outside of the buildings, the interiors also look authentic.
The project is publicly available; in The Sims 4 Gallery, it can be found under the ID "Lilithx88."
