In November, fans celebrate the anniversary of the flight simulator "IL-2 Sturmovik". The developers also joined the celebration.
1C Game Studios addressed the community and told about the new website:
Dear friends, it's hard to believe, but the IL-2 series of flight simulators is 24 years old! The first game went on sale on November 23, 2001. In honor of the holiday today, November 24, we opened a new website for the series and a new forum [...] Already this week, another page will open on the new website - 24 years old is quite an adult age, it's time to start a family.
The IL-2 franchise is still popular: add-ons with new content are being released for "IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles" and a new part "Korea. IL-2 Series" is being prepared.
