Venturing into certain areas is becoming more dangerous.
Recently, Misery returned to Steam for sale after a DMCA strike. Now, a small update with new content and gameplay improvements has been released for the game.
The map has been expanded, and two new enemies can be encountered in the urban area.
Flies now buzz around corpses, and the "decomposition time has been significantly increased" — the developer explained that this will help in finding and collecting loot.
Other changes and new features:
- Fixed a bug with "friends-only" servers. You can now host and connect to servers without any issues. Be sure to use the SERVER CODE in the search.
- Fixed overflow errors on the Chemistry Table. If there is not enough space in the table's inventory, finished items will appear directly on the table.
- Fixed a bug with the teleporting ghoul.
- Fixed a bug that caused the emission counter to reset after restarting the game.
- Fixed a bug with the aiming getting stuck.
- Several new locations and points of interest have appeared.
- Ratwolves have become stronger.
- Artifacts can now be retrieved from the water.
- Fixed a bug with AK magazines.
