The author of the YouTube channel smilly proposed an unusual way to play Minecraft. Instead of a monitor, he decided to use a different device that doesn't provide the highest frame rate.
What happens in the game is rendered using a cash register printer: instead of a receipt, the player receives a "gameplay frame." Thus, smilly played the cubic sandbox at a frequency of approximately 0.5 frames per second.
With such limitations, it is not very convenient to play Minecraft — smilly had great difficulty sorting the inventory; it is hardly possible to adequately respond to threats with such a delay at all.
