On November 25, the publishing house Go On Board launched The Witcher: Legacy board adventure game campaign on the Gamefound crowdfunding platform, which should transport players to The Witcher universe.
The team needed only four minutes to fulfill the main goal of this event - to collect $115,510 (9,071,941 rubles). One day has passed, and the developers already have $2,909,583 (228,513,266 rubles) in their piggy bank.
Thanks to additional funds from generous players, The Witcher: Legacy will feature new monsters with miniatures, adrenaline mechanics, new cards and a resource called trophy, personal stories, potions and other important innovations.
With this board game, designed for 1-4 people, players will be able to become witchers from the School of the Wolf, uncover a large-scale conspiracy, hunt monsters and participate in exciting scenarios.
Now the standard version of The Witcher: Legacy can be pre-ordered for $128.20 (10,068 rubles), and the deluxe version for $205.61 (16,148 rubles). The game will reach buyers only in June 2027, so you will have to wait quite a long time.
