Recently, an AI-generated "role-playing game" concept video went viral. Many were so impressed that calls began to appear to make a game in a similar style.
In November, OMW Game Studio presented a pre-alpha teaser of a project called Shores of Vaelithar, the graphics of which are very reminiscent of that concept.
The developer claims that the studio does not use AI to create assets, and the trailer consists of game footage:
Gameplay is one of the key aspects of our work, especially the combat system. Our main goal is to make the game smooth, engaging, and rewarding for the player's skill. We are currently creating a vertical slice of gameplay in order to release a combat demo by the end of the year.
