In the world of Warhammer, there are many heroes whose exploits have survived the ages: some of them have even become gods. However, few can match Gotrek Gurnisson in stubbornness, determination and survivability. Eternally accompanied by Felix Jaeger, he fought countless enemies in Warhammer: The Old World and invariably emerged from the battle with an axe in hand.
When the world fell, Gotrek managed to survive the apocalypse, emerging from it almost unscathed — only to begin new adventures in the Mortal Realms of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe.
In honor of his incredibly long and eventful life, Black Library has prepared a new edition of William King's "Trollslayer" — the first novel about Gotrek and Felix.
The central element of the set is "Trollslayer" itself, published in hardcover with a fabric cover decorated with a copper foil pattern. The book is complemented by colored page trims and a brown ribbon bookmark. And since such a bookmark would be more suitable for Felix, in honor of Gotrek, the edition comes with a metal bookmark in the shape of an axe, stylistically consistent with the design.
The collection also includes two coins: one round — a symbol of the Empire's currency, the other decagonal — as in the vaults of the dwarves. In addition, the set includes three art prints: a scene with Gotrek and Felix over mugs of beer, a map of the Old World, and a poster with their wanted ad.
One of the striking additions to the set is a set of four coasters in the style of beer coasters — with unique designs and a non-slip base. Two of them are dedicated to beers from The Old World — "Trollbrew" and "Tar Drop", and the rest are places where these drinks are served: "The Sleeping Dragon" tavern and the "Brodag" festival.
Pre-order for the limited edition of "Trollslayer" will open soon. The edition will be limited and will no longer be available for sale.
