Recently, the creators of the well-known Skinbid platform for trading skins from * announced the closure of the project.
A difficult but exciting four-year journey comes to an end. SkinBid ApS (the company behind the SkinBid website) was declared bankrupt on November 21, 2025, in accordance with Danish law.
The co-owner of the platform, zipeL, admitted that they failed to create a successful "white" platform:
400 thousand wonderful users, excellent employees, and four years of hard work - all of this is coming to an end. My dream was to launch a marketplace that complies with EU rules; I did it, but it didn't work out in the end.
Players have until December 5 of this year to withdraw their assets from Skinbid.
