Thanks to a stream with the developers, viewers were able to get a closer look at the specifications of the flagship Ayaneo NEXT 2 handheld device and see the team playing different projects on it.
During a special live stream, Ayaneo CEO Arthur Zhang shared details about the NEXT 2, a new generation flagship handheld device.
This new product features Windows 11 + AYASpace operating system and a 9.06-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400x1504, PWM frequency of 5280 Hz, peak brightness of 1100 nits, and switchable refresh rate of 60/90/120/144/165 Hz.
The device has an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 chip with an RDNA 3.5 Radeon 8060S GPU, a dual fan system, a built-in 115 Wh battery, LPDDR5X RAM from 32 GB, and a built-in SSD Gen4 NVMe SSD from 1 TB.
Also present are premium joysticks and triggers on Hall sensors, a two-stage trigger lock, a floating 8-way D-Pad, dual smart touchpads “TouchTAPMagic”, four ergonomic rear buttons, four customizable buttons, a magnetic levitation vibration motor, and front stereo speakers.
In addition, during the stream, Arthur and his assistant played Black Myth: Wukong, Forza Horizon 5, and Cyberpunk 2077 on Ayaneo NEXT 2. Unfortunately, it is not yet known when exactly the device will be released, how much it will cost, and how long we will have to wait until pre-orders open.
Judging by the comments online, some people think that Ayaneo NEXT 2 will be quite heavy and cost around 150-160 thousand rubles.
