Heroes of the Storm Receives Update 2.55.14 with New Content. Blizzard Talks About MOBA Game Improvements

Blizzard periodically returns to HOTS and makes some changes to the game.

Blizzard Entertainment returned to Heroes of the Storm in early December. The developers of the MOBA game released update 2.55.14, which players had previously tested on a special PTR server.

The authors of Heroes of the Storm presented not only technical changes and balance adjustments, but also new content - skins "Brown Mechanic Thrall" and "Bonny Butcher".

Some changes:

A new Fallback Tower has been added to the side lanes of some battlegrounds, which is destroyed when the corresponding fort falls. The change affected the following battlegrounds: "Alterac Pass", "Eternal Battleground", "Blackheart's Bay", "Braxis Holdout", "Cursed Hollow", "Dragon Shire", "Garden of Terror", "Hanamura Temple", "Towers of Doom", "Sky Temple", "Tomb of the Spider Queen", "Volskaya Foundry" and "Warhead Junction".
Attacks from the Citadel, Forts, Keeps, Fallback Towers, and Towers near Keeps now weaken the armor of heroes. The weakening value has been changed from -10/-20 to -20/-40 armor.
Fallback Towers have the same health and damage as Keep Towers.
Forts, Keeps, and the Citadel will no longer grant allied heroes who take damage within their radius 35 armor for 4 seconds.
Increased the importance of comeback mechanics during the game, especially when there is a large difference in levels.
Added higher awards for completing tasks for some heroes. They are not easy to get, but they give significant buffs.
