It recently became known that the first to escape from Tarkov was Tigz, a streamer well-known in the Escape from Tarkov community.
The «Tarkov Meta Movement» community drew attention to player AlexPerch's unsuccessful run — in the very finale, he encountered a critical bug that prevented him from getting the ending:
[…] AlexPerch was going for the exit live and could have been the first player to complete the Overseer ending in PvP mode — but the game decided otherwise: the exit simply turned out to be inactive. He had slept two hours in the last 24 hours, and spent the rest of the time trying to escape from Tarkov.
One of the community members suggested waiting for patches:
