Rockstar Games has reminded everyone about Red Dead Redemption by releasing an enhanced edition for modern consoles. Videos showcasing gameplay on PS5 Pro are now available.
The game runs in 4K and at 60 FPS, which will provide a smooth and detailed picture. The developers have confirmed improved optimization and image quality, as well as HDR support.
PS5 and Xbox Series X|S users will also get stable 60 FPS, while Switch 2 supports DLSS, HDR, and mouse control.
Additionally, owners of the digital version for PS4, Switch, or Xbox One will receive a free upgrade and will be able to transfer old saves, continuing the game from where they left off.
Today, December 2, 2025, Red Dead Redemption will become available on PS Plus Extra.
